Serving students in kindergarten through 12th grade, the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School (PA Cyber) is one of the largest, most experienced, and most successful online public schools in the nation. PA Cyber’s online learning environments, personalized instructional methods, and choices of curricula connect Pennsylvania students and their families with state-certified and highly-qualified teachers, and rich academic content that is aligned to state standards. Founded in 2000, PA Cyber is headquartered in Midland (Beaver County) and maintains a network of support offices throughout the state.  As a public school, PA Cyber is open for enrollment by any school-age child residing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and does not charge tuition to students or families.

About Jennifer Shoaf:

Jennifer is the Deputy Chief Academic Officer at The Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, a public online cyber charter school serving students across the Commonwealth in Kindergarten through 12th grade. 

With over 15 years of experience in online education, Jennifer is dedicated to ensuring that all students have access to innovative and personalized learning opportunities.  Understanding that all students have unique interests and needs, Jennifer is passionate about helping children succeed both academically and personally by providing them with the necessary resources both inside and outside of the classroom.

Before moving into her role as Deputy Chief Academic Officer, Jennifer previously held the position of Director of Curriculum and Instruction at PA Cyber.  She also served as an Instructional Supervisor and Teacher where she enjoyed working directly with students and families on a daily basis.  Prior to joining PA Cyber, Jennifer was an Assistant High School Girls Basketball Coach and worked at the Beaver Area School District.

Jennifer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Geneva College and earned a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Clarion University. Jennifer resides in Beaver, PA with her husband and two sons, Logan and Levi.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching her boys play sports, running, and learning about nutrition.
